Watch this video to learn how to sew a sewn-in extension
Sewing a sewed-in or folded-in zipper can be as easy as pulling it out.
And that’s a lot of fun.
Here’s how to get started:1.
Fold the zipper into a zipper pull or zipper stitch.2.
Use the fold for a seam.3.
Pull out the folded-out zipper and sew.4.
You can do this for any zipper pull, including zippers made of plastic, paper, cardboard, and even vinyl.5.
If you’re trying to sew two or more zipper pulls, make sure they’re sewn together.6.
Be sure the seam line is at least 2cm (1 inch) apart.7.
If the zipper pulls are made of cardboard or paper, you may need to use tape or thread to secure the seam.8.
Sew on a decorative ribbon for a decorative seam.9.
If a zipper pulls is too long, use a 1cm (0.6 inch) strip of fabric.
